Tuesday, April 10King of the Ice Cream Mountain play @ Laman Library 9:30am
The Cadron Company, UCA Theatre’s own traveling troupe of players, bring to life the Kingdom of Frozenburr. The ice cream-rich land is ruled by King Bumpygruff, until things go awry and wicked Zeno takes control. The show is aimed at ages 4-11.

Thursday, April 12  – Kinder Concert @ Central Arkansas Libraries Main branch 6:30pm
Join Brian and Terri Kinder for musical fun as this local singing and songwriting duo entertain kids and parents alike with their catchy, kid-friendly tunes. This concert is part of the Literary Festival.

Friday & Saturday, April 13-14Wildflower Weekend @ Petit Jean State Park
Walks, talks, and evening presentations all related to the celebration of spring wildflowers. Contact 501-727-5441

Friday-Sunday, April 13-15 – Birds and Blooms Weekend @ Lake Catherine State Park

The Arkansas Certified Farmers Market opens today and is open every Saturday morning through September.

Saturday, April 149th Annual England Celebration @ Foster Park in England
Live band, tour of Wagon Yard Museum, carnival, food, games, crafts, exhibits, art show. Rain date is April 21.

Saturday, April 14Family Health Fest @ The Promenade at Chenal, 10:00am-2:00pm.
Bring the entire family for an exciting day of health & fun! This isn’t your typical Health Fair, it’s a Family Health Fest! There will be Free health screenings, Q&A with various experts from St. Vincent’s, food samples, and activities including Face Painting, Bike & Helmet Safety, Soda Bottle Bowling, Ladder Obstacle Course, Jump Rope & Football Toss,and more.

Saturday, April 14 A Day of Family Events @ The Arkansas Literary Fest, 9am-4pm
There’s a whole host of fun things going on in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock in conjunction with the Arkansas Literary Festival.  Theater performances, puppet shows, workshops, and poetry readings.  All Free!
