100 Days of Summertime {giveaway}

Tomorrow is the big day for us – the kids’ last day of school.  Sort of.  Because they’ve both opted to go to summer school, which starts on Wednesday.  And I’m having mixed feelings about that, because on the one hand I’m glad that they love school and that my schedule will be free to help with the new business if needed, but on the other hand, it’s a whole month of summer that kind of feels lost.

As a type-a parent, I’ll try to make the best of it by planning, making lists, and organizing things so that I can squeeze as many fun experiences, informal learning opportunities, mini travel adventures, and productive projects out of the summer as possible.  And that is where 100 Days of Summertime comes in.

100 Days of Summertime eBook Giveaway

100 Days of Summertime is an eBook from one of my favorite companies, List PlanIt.  Starting on the Sunday before Memorial Day and running through Labor Day, 100 Days of Summertime provides a plan for each day.  It also includes:

  • access to 34 interactive lists from ListPlanIt.com for summer camp, family vacations, party planning/entertaining, back to school and more
  • links to Pinterest boards with ideas related to holiday planning, rainy day activities, etc
  • the 100 Days of Summertime facebook community, where you can share ideas and join in discussions.

I am so, so excited to get started with this!  After skimming through the book (there are 106 pages of awesome ideas and resources), my plan is to print out the included at-a-glance monthly calendars, and then use those to plot out the summer.  I may not do the proposed “plan” on the day it belongs with in the book, but I’ll use the monthly calendars to note the pages in the book that include the resources I need for my customized day’s/week’s plan.

Over this holiday weekend, I plan to get things setup, as outlined in the opening pages of the book.  If you’d like to join in the fun right now, you can download an excerpt, which includes the first of the 100 Days, Sunday May 26th.

AND!

I get to give away two copies of 100 Days of Summertime!  You can enter to win via the Rafflecopter widget below.  I will draw winners at 10pm CST on Sunday May 26th so that winners can get their books ASAP.

    Is this where we were suppose to comment? My plans and goals for this summer are going to happen one way or another. Perhaps my goal is to endure and embrace the challenges ahead! I am now 20 weeks pregnant! And we are still working through the housing process! Not sure if the build will work out but hoping to find out very soon! Kids seem to have too much togetherness but I’m trying to appreciate the time we all have together!!!
