Stitch Fix #4: Sabotage

My friend Julie got her first Stitch Fix today, and that reminded me that I never posted my forth Stitch Fix!  If you want to learn more about Stitch Fix, check out my first stitch fix post. Here’s what came in the magic box!

  1. Abrianna Mini Striped Cardigan
  2. Filbert 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse
  3. Blanchette Tie-Neck Peasant Blouse
  4. Marley Split Back Knit Top
  5. Freida Corduroy

And, here’s what I kept:

The Marley Split back top on the left and on the right, the Blanchette Peasant Blouse and Freida Corduroy pants.

Now, let me tell you about that green shirt that I kept. (This is the sabotage part.) It’s maybe not the most flattering on me, although I do love green.

But, stitch fix lesson #39 – be careful where you unpack your stitch fix. I unpacked mine on the kitchen counter, which looked spotless, but happened to still have a spot of bacon grease on it.  And I dragged that shirt right through that bacon grease, and since it is light polyester, it soaked through from the front to the back, so double stain!  And it’s dry clean only.  So, basically, I couldn’t send it back. New shirt for me! I was able to get the stain out after hand washing it twice, but you can see it on the front of the shirt in the photo above.

  1. I am curious about Stitch Fix but also nervous. I live in gym clothes so I am afraid I will but a bunch of cute clothes that I never get to wear!

They only send you five things, so that’s all you’ll have at the most! Depending what they are, you can probably wear all 5 at once! 😉
