Playground Review: Arkansas Baptist Wellness Center Playroom
I recently told you about the Indoor Playground at Rock Creek, so now that the weather seems to have committed itself to the fact that’s it’s winter, I thought I’d share another little respite from the cold.
Playground: The Playroom @ Arkansas Baptist Wellness Center.
Address: 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212
Hours: Unknown
- Climbing stairs/ladders/platforms
- play house
- 1 small slide, 1 toddler slide
- rope bridge
- activity panels
- maze
Setting: Indoor (climate controlled)
Surface: rubber tile
Seating: chairs and tables
Facilities: restrooms and water fountain
Other features: Cafe for lunch/snacks
Comments: This indoor play area is designed for kids in 1st grade and younger. It’s not very big, but still exciting enough to keep my 5 and 3 year old busy for about an hour. The staff advised me that if you intend to use the playroom “on a regular basis”, they ask that you pay a $10 per month fee, but otherwise, it’s free. The little cafe across the hall is a nice perk. It seems to be only open for lunch.
