Summer Brickation: Legos at the Landing! {giveaway}
If you’re going to be in the vicinity of Branson in the near future, head downtown to The Branson Landing to check out Lego Summer Brickation tour. Running now through September 4th, this free event gives you and the kids an opportunity to try out Lego’s newest products, compete in a Lego challenge (who can build the tallest Lego tower or the fastest Lego car?), and have fun with several other Lego activities. You can find the Lego Summer Brickation in one of the storefronts near the fountain, but it is not a retail store – no Legos for sale, just Legos to play with! The event will be fully staffed with different programs running throughout the day. Sounds like a great way to stay cool while you’re waiting for the (also free) hourly fountain shows to start!
Lego Summer Brickation @ Branson Landing
July 25 – September 4
100 Branson Landing Blvd
Branson, MO 65616
We’ll be headed to Branson to check out the action next week, so I’ll update this post with photos then. In the meantime, I’ve got a fun Lego prize pack to give away for your favorite Lego maniac: a Lego pirate hat, 10 bricks to click (a pack of 10 Legos) and a copy of Lego Junior magazine (also includes a registration card for two free years of membership to Club Lego).
To enter to win, just leave a comment telling me what you favorite family-friendly thing to do in Branson is, or if you’ve not been to Branson, tell me what your favorite family vacation acitivity is. I’ll use random.org to draw a winner on Wednesday, August 1st.
Disclosure: I am being compensated by gigcoin.com for this post. All opinions are my own!

Hey thanks for the info! I will be traveling thru Branson with my kiddos and this will be a great stop and stretch their legs activity. Our favorite fam friendly vacation is renting a condo on the beach and indulging the kids in whatever they want to do for a whole week. They pick the restaurants (most of the time), what activities we do, and so on.
Branson is one of our family’s fave places to visit! We always catch one of the magic or animal shows while there! So many wonderful things to do there!
Just got back from a 4 days camping trip at Lake Cathrine. What a wonderful time we had. Hope to be able to make it up to Brandson before school starts. My son would love to see the Lego displays.
Just got back from Branson but it was a “girls” trip so we did fun stuff without the kids. I haven’t taken my family to Branson yet but I’m thinking about taking the crew to Silver Dollar City to see the Christmas lights this year!
Never been to Branson with the kids, but I’m sure silver dollar city would be a hit!
Thanks for the info. We are heading up to Branson next week with our children and we were looking for fun things to do besides Silver Dollar City.
We love Silver Dollar City. We invested in Season Passes for the first time and J loves it!
I’ve never been to Branson, but have heard nothing but wonderful things about it! For me, my favorite family vacation activity is quality time. Keeping everyone together to be as one, instead of having everyone going off to do their own thing! Thanks for this fun giveaway!
Planning to head to branson this friday 08/10/12 with my grandkids who is 3 and 7. We already bought our tickets to dixie stamped which i heard is an awesome dinner and show (which you eat with your hand, no silverware). Can’t wait to take them. We also love going to the landing to see the water and fire show. The grandkids like the track too. You can buy a wrist brand for 2 hours of free play on the rides for $35.00 each. The price did go up since we took my grandson a few years ago. Use to be $25.00. I know alot of the stuff there isn’t there any more because of the tornatoe but we will have fun we always do… oh yeah there is also the fish hatchery that you can tour for free and the kids loved that too.
Hi Vironica! We actually went down and checked out the Legos today – the kids had tons of fun! The Fish Hatchery is one of our favorites too. Another fun freebie is the Dewey Short Visitor Center, located across the dam from the fish hatchery. Don’t worry to much about the tornado – it really has not impacted Branson too much – most of the damage has been cleaned up and repaired. There are a few businesses that are still closed, but it won’t impact your trip.
