I’m a bit late on publishing this post for the week, but there are still lots of fun things to do in Central Arkansas that are FREE! October 26-28 – Pumpkin Carving Contest @ Pinnacle Mountain State Park Have your pumpkin on display at Pinnacle Mountain State Park for the Halloween weekend! Carve your pumpkin entry into a scene, activity, landform, plant, or animal found at the park. If enough pumpkins are entered between October 26 and 28, they will be lit and featured on the hayride route for hayride guests to enjoy as nighttime falls. Free Fun for Familes: Oct 16-22

October 16-22 Wednesday, October 19 – Little Beginnings Toddler Program @ Old Statehouse Museum 10:30am The Little Beginnings toddler program is for children ages 2 through 4 with parent. As a frugal family of four, we love free events with a focus on fun.  I thought I’d share some of what’s available in Central Arkansas this week. Amidst Motorcycles, Trains, and Robots, there are lots of ways to celebrate Fall!
