Stitch Fix #2
I received my second Stitch Fix a while back and thought I would share it with you. (If you want to learn more about what Stitch Fix is, check out my first Stitch Fix Post) I love seeing other people’s fixes, and it’s interesting to see what they keep and what they send back. So, I thought I’d do things a little differently this time. Here’s what came in my box: The items are: 1. Jacqui Striped … Read entire article »

Sell-Free, Simple School Fundraiser – Shoparoo!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. I really do use Shoparoo, and I really am excited about it, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing about it! All other opinions expressed herein are my own, too. I have a confession to make. I do not like school fundraisers. I abhor spending money on over-priced things that I don’t really want so that a portion of the proceeds will go to my school. It irritates the heck out of me that my kids … Read entire article »

AWBU Wrap-UP
I attended the Arkansas Women Bloggers University conference at the beginning of this month. Usually I do a wrap-up post here and give away some swag. This year I’m doing something a little different. Today I’ve got a post up over on the MISSOURI Women Bloggers website that includes the swag giveaway. I am excited about being able to help another state grow within the Women Bloggers community. If you are a blogger, or want to … Read entire article »

Over the weekend I learned about “Japanese Blues” at a Japanese Festival. That was really interesting, but I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Then, a friend shared this video of this two year old singing the blues. Very entertaining, but I couldn’t understand him … Read entire article »
Our Wedding Photography #Fail
Craig and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary on Friday. In honor of that, I wanted to share the story of our wedding photos, which gets funnier as the years go by (it wasn’t funny when it first happened). We got married on a sailboat in New Zealand. We found our officiant online fairly easily, but were having difficulty finding a photographer we could afford. The internet wasn’t what it is today back then, and New … Read entire article »

Teacher Appreciation 101
Disclosure: VolunteerSpot.com asked me to write this article. My “pay” is a $25 donation to DonorsChoose.org, which I will be matching with a $25 donation of my own. It’s back to school season (as if you didn’t know). My own little lovelies have been back to it for a few weeks now, but I am still seeing “first day” photos flooding my facebook feed. Every year I am in awe of the job that teachers do. Not only do they … Read entire article »
