Plum District: Books, Games and Toys!

Plum District just launched a new deal for Learning Train: $29 for $55 worth of books, toys, games, and other educational fun stuff, plus free shipping. Obviously, this is a great purchase for holiday gifts, or you could keep it in your back pocket for birthdays, OR you could use it to stock up on educational resources. Learning Train is an educational publisher, creating activity books to help develop skills in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, logic, and reasoning as well as the arts.  So, they know what kids like!

I’m drawn to Learning Train’s website because there aren’t many “branded” items.  This is the first year that my kids are asking for “Barbies” and “Transformers” for Christmas, and I’m not thrilled about it. Learning Train has lots of great options that will keep my kids excited about  good, basic, time-tested fun.
