Sunday, December 18 – Christmas Concert at MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, 2:00pm
Featuring the Margaret Watt Piano and Vocal Studio and the General T.J. Churchill Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Sunday, December 18 – Eagle Tour @ Lake Dardanelle State Park, 10:00am
Lake Dardanelle State Park is proud to offer free winter lake cruises for the best chance of seeing our national symbol, the American bald eagle. Many other spectacular birds may also be in the area for viewing including American white pelicans, ducks, and snow geese. Please dress warmly as temperatures and winds can be more severe on the lake. Call the visitor center at (479) 967-5516 to reserve your seat. We will begin boarding 15 minutes before the tour, at the boat dock near the Fishing Tournament Weigh-In Facility. Also, in case of inclement weather, call 1 hour before tour time for possible cancellations.

Tuesday, December 20 – Kids’ Holiday Crafts @ Terry Library, 2:30pm
Kids of all ages are welcome. Kids and families can enjoy various holiday-themed crafts to make and take home.

Wednesday, December 21 – Little Beginnings Toddler Program @ Old Statehouse Museum 10:30am
The Little Beginnings toddler program is for children ages 2 through 4 with parent. Each month the class will highlight a different topic and promote learning through hands-on activities, music making, movement and storytelling.Call (501) 324-9685 for more information.

Saturday, December 24 – West Summit Hike @ Pinnacle Mountain State Park 10:00 – 12:00pm
Release some holiday stress and enjoy a guided hike up the west side of Pinnacle Mountain with a park interpreter. This is a moderately strenuous hike; sturdy shoes and water are required. Remember to dress appropriately for colder weather and wind.

Tuesday, December 27 – All-You-Can-Read Buffet @ Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library, 2:00-5:00pm
This program is for kids ages 8 & up. They can bring sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc… and books to read (or check some out at the library). Snacks will be provided.
