Wednesday, November 30 Fall Fairy Festival @ Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library, 6:30pm
Think a happy thought, sprinkle some pixie dust, and fly off to Terry Library for this fun event! We will be making lots of fairy crafts and eating fun fairy food. For girls of all ages. Wings and tutus encouraged!

Friday, December 2Santa Comes Early @ Allsopp Park Promenade, 5:30pm
School choirs will sing carols while you enjoy hot cocoa, cider and homemade cookies, courtesy of the Hillcrest Merchants Association. Santa will arrive to light the Hillcrest Christmas Tree at 6 p.m. He and Mrs. Claus will stay to visit with the kiddos and hear their Christmas wishes. For info: 663-7757.

Saturday, December 3Santa at the Center @ The Clinton Presidential Center, 10:00am-2:00pm
Kids are invited to enjoy fun holiday activities this month at the Center. There will be art projects, tasty treats, entertainment and visits from Santa! Event is Dec. 3, 10 and 17. For info: 374-4242.

Saturday, December 3Celebration of Living Gifts @ Heifer Village, 10:00am-3:00pm
Animals from Heifer Ranch will be featured in the Alternative Gifts Marketplace and available for photo opportunities! Create a unique photo frame to take home or give to someone special, play the Heifer mapping game, Animals Around the World, and guess what animals are used in what countries, create your own alternative gift coupon book to use throughout the year, and watch the Gloryland Children’s Choir perform from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Saturday, December 3 – Jacksonville Christmas Parade, 1:00pm
This annual holiday parade will begin at Sharp and Main Streets. For info: 982-4316.

Saturday, December 3Little Rock Holiday Parade, 3:00pm
This annual event is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season. The parade will begin at 2nd and Broadway and proceed down to the State Capitol. Santa and Mrs. Claus will top off the parade’s troupe, which will also include floats, marching bands, cars, animals and more. Craft activities at the The State Capitol begin at 4pm, with the Lighting Ceremony  following the parade at approximately 6:00pm  (to include entertainment and fireworks).

Sunday, December 4 – North Little Rock Christmas Parade, 1:00pm
The parade begins at Pershing and Orange, heads east to Main Street, then travels south on Main to E. Washington. The rain date will be December 11. For info: 758-1424.

Sunday, December 444th Annual Christmas Frolic @ the Historic Arkansas Museum, 1:00pm-4:00pm
Celebrate the holiday season like days past. Visitors can watch nails being forged at the new Blacksmith Shop, create tree ornaments and holiday cards, sip on hot cider and enjoy ginger cake, play pioneer games, listen to 19th century fiddle music, expect a visit from Father Christmas and do some holiday shopping in the Museum Store. Free parking is available at 3rd and Cumberland Streets.

Sunday, December 4Holiday Open House @ The Old Statehouse Museum, 1:00-4:30pm
The traditions of joyous family holiday celebrations past can be relived at Holiday Open House. Visitors will find the Old State House colorfully decorated for the season. Fun, hands-on activities will be available to children; they may create unique holiday cards and more! Delightful carols will be performed by local music groups. Sunday, December 4 – Holiday Open House @ Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
This event will feature holiday performances by local choir and theatre groups as well as a special presentation featuring Mosaic Templars own Act Out Loud students. There will also be a Kids’ Holiday Craft Corner with a variety of holiday activities including holiday refreshments. Toys will be collected for Say’s Stop the Violence toy drive to benefit children in the local community. For info 501-683-3593.

Enjoy beautiful arrangements of much-loved seasonal classics along with some toe-tapping, sing-along fun surprises. (There are also concerts on December 5th & 8th)
